Program Description more...

The Saint Louis University Program in Physical Therapy is a freshman admit program with students completing a 6-year program combining a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and the Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees. Typically, a cohort of 95 freshman students are admitted each fall. The attrition of students during the pre-professional phase is primarily a result of major changes by student; only a small percentage of students either leave the university or do not meet the necessary academic and/or professional behavior requirements. Consequently, admission for post-baccalaureate students is based on space availability. There likely is not space available for post-baccalaureate students for the cohort beginning the professional phase in May 2020.

The Program anticipates that there may be space available for the DPT class entering in May 2021. Potential applicants can stay informed about post-baccalaureate admission possibility by visiting the SLU Program in PT web site (https://www.slu.edu/doisy/degrees/undergraduate/physical-therapy.php).
