The University of Jamestown was established in 1883 and is one of the oldest institutions in North Dakota. We consistently rank in the Top Tier of U.S. News and World Report's "Best Colleges" rankings. The University of Jamestown established a Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at its new campus location in Fargo, ND. This three - year degree prepares you for widespread clinical applications including the preservation, development, and restoration of optimal physical function. Our Program offers an integrated curriculum with coursework and clinical experience.

Important dates

Interviews will take place on scheduled dates in November 2019 and April 2020.  Offers will be made to qualified applicants beginning in November 2019.

All application materials must be received and verified by PTCAS to be eligible for an interview. Upload all required documents into PTCAS for processing; do not mail documents to the Program. Incomplete applications are not accepted.

Applicants who are invited to interview will attend a face-to-face interview at University of Jamestown, Fargo campus. The Program does not interview candidates via Skype or similar programs. All costs associated with this interview are the responsibility of the applicant.

To be eligible for admission to the Program through early decision, candidates must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25, a minimum prerequisite GPA of 3.25, and a minimum GRE verbal score of 145.

General information
At least nine of the thirteen prerequisite classes must be successfully completed by the application deadline. All coursework must be successfully completed and a bachelor’s degree received from an accredited institution by June 1, 2020.

Any coursework completed after the application deadline will not count toward cumulative or prerequisite GPA calculations. However, cumulative and prerequisite GPAs must continue to meet minimum requirements.
