PhD in Exercise Science with a focus in Rehabilitation Sciences is an option for our DPT graduates.
Additional information about the class profile
Program DOES NOT give preference to applicants who are currently enrolled within the university or who are in-state residents, all applicants are reviewed based on merits of application. Most students are able to receive resident tuition after the first year if they follow the appropriate pathways to residency.

Program Description more...

The Physical Therapy Program at the University of South Carolina offers students a unique opportunity to develop clinical physical therapy skills in an intimate learning environment. The small size of our enrollment (up to 30) allows students to have a number of opportunities such as: small labs and individualized instruction, completing a clinically relevant research project; and teaching opportunities. Our graduates have consistently scored above average on the license exam and have a reputation of success and being leaders in the profession.
